The outline of Niigata-shi
Niigata-shi is a central city located in the central part of the Echigo
plain, and the mouth of a river in Shinano River and Agano River as the
greatest Honshu Sea of Japan side city in which a population of about 800,000
is held. It prospers as a base of Sea of Japan marine business at the Edo
